Seems very odd that our best white ball batsman is not in the first team.

Perhaps they've rumbled his strike rate.

Why no Rishi Patel ? From what I have seen in the championship stuff from him, he is an attacking batsman who plays his shots. Would have thought he would be suited to T20 ?

Playing Snater (and batting at 7) yet we loaned Coles to Northants ??

No Boapra is a blow. We have no other genuine all-rounder. Walter now appears like he is a batsman who occasionally bowls. Snater is rubbish. Harmer is not a number 7. Ten Doeschate never bowls anymore ?

Walter seems more a batsman who can bowl, I would say to him 'Go out & play with freedom', he showed briefly last night he has power & can certainly hit, so let him. If he is going to be the other way around then encourage him to bowl naturally ie don't force him to bowl flat out if he isn't effective or ,alternatively, don't force him into length & line if he loses his zip. Our bowling Coach needs to spend time with him.
