On some pitches, especially in England / NZ, accurate 80mph will do the job, and in the Indian subcontnent spin is still (usually) king, but even in these places show me a skipper who still would NOT want some real pace in his locker rather than have what Salim Malik once called “a pop-gun attack”.
As for NoPaint, he’s raised a couple of interesting questions – maybe addressing them would be more interesting than chucking abuse at him?
