It was Doug Insoles 90th birthday celebration today.  A few ex Essex and England players were there.  There's a photo on the Essex twitter page.

was that who they were ? Thought crisis had opened a new shelter, never mind hunting for autographs, what about looking for some shampoo and deodorant am I right people !

Snob. Surely it is the last bastion for males who prefer to avoid the Metrosexual lifestyle (as well as female company) by letting the au naturale aromas and dandruff have free reign.

Two of the regular autograph hunters are members, they sit in the Hayes Close end.

One of them does not appear to be in a good way, it was noticeable last season as well.
