It's oh so quiet...
« on: October 27, 2015, 11:12:08 AM »
...on here. Given England's magnificent defeat yesterday and the revelation on TMS that jelly fish are edible.

Have some naughty boys been sin binned?

..sorry. Forgot about the hibernation. Just don't end up like the Blue Peter tortoise that mysteriously disappeared over the winter.

I hear that ECCC have development plans for a large straw-filled cardboard box to be installed at the County Ground for those who want one. Unfortunately it hasn't quite been built yet.

Yes. Blue Peter not just keeping up with the Kardishans, but far ahead of them.

First question

What is going to happen with the development of the ground and how will it effect memebers facilities next season?

I think the message is that the ground development has been put on hold, and the press release cheerfully (!) announced "business as usual" at the ECG in 2016. My personal view is that things aren't really that bad at the ground, with the exception of the players' facilities, which would be familiar to W.G. Grace! In my opinion, investment is urgently needed in a new coach and a couple of top notch additions to the 1st XI. I think we need an update on how the search for the new coach is going; that is paramount.

An interesting photograph of Ronnie Irani, Chris Silverwood and Graham Gooch at the recent renewal of the Amlin sponsorship.  Current and future power block?
