Ground development

I'd like to know how much money we got from losing our car park. When you travel a distance to get to any match it is really a big loss for me not to be able to park for free at the ground [which was promised as part of Life membership], especially if you bring children with you.

It’s also not getting any easier if one doesn’t walk that well any longer, but isn’t into ‘blue badge’ territory. It’s almost 20 or so minutes from the gate in Meteor Way to the gate at the ground. I don’t mind paying the £1 but I am beginning to resent the walk.
And having to walk up beside the car park and all the way back again doesn’t help!

Whilst not defending the Club, if they are having to pay Chelmsford Council for the use of Meteor Way then it is not unreasonable for them to charge a (nominal) parking fee for Members, compare to Kent where you pay , I think it's £10 to park or similar at The Rose Bowl & £1 isn't too bad, I do agree on the stupidity of walking all the way up beside the Club Car Park & then down again, surely something could have been done to make a short cut into the ground?

Agree; £1 for all day parking’s not a problem.

I don't think I've used meteor way this year but a pound is find. I'm baffled how the car park next to the ground works. Does one have to pay on match days or is it the great and the good only?

The car park next to the ground is for officials and sponsors with a limited number of places available for Premier Suite members on a first come first served basis. The car park is only available to officials and sponsors during televised matches.
