Ahead of Australia
« on: June 27, 2015, 10:21:19 AM »
Morning,

Ahead of the big game please just post here if any queries.

Signage will be in place to show unallocated seating areas for Members and Public.

Plenty of food options around the ground and daily hot meal in the pavilion. Meteor Way open all 4 days and gates to ground open at 9am for all

pavilion access will be via ticket and membership card

Expecting hot weather so enjoy!

Thanks Danny Macklin, commercial director

I know there's a new sense of optimism sweeping the Fortress after finally beating Hants but Essex being ahead of Australia is pushing it a bit ;)

If Essex got promotion & won both 1 day comps I guess you would still find it hard to give them any praise or credit?
There are numerous things that need correcting but at least give them credit when they win or do anything right/good!

Looks like you're finally losing your audience VP.

I'll always have you to heckle me tickle.

As for getting promoted don't make me laugh.

Unless we wind up in the proposed Div. 3.

Even then Larry would probably conspire to fall short.

We're going to be a win and 6 batting points short of promotion this year, I reckon.

All is not yet lost by any means in the t20, although pretty well everyone still has a chance of qualifying from our Group.

As the 50 over cup hasn't started I think that only confirmed pessimists (name withheld to protect the guilty) would completely rule out the possibility of success at this stage!

Hi,

Very well, we will not quite be sold out as the Members tickets have not all been taken up. Members have until 5pm tomorrow to secure their free ticket or £7 reserved seat.

Thanks, Danny

.... and of course plenty of members will be hedging their bets with tickets for all days and deciding which to actually use.

Danny, whereabouts are the Members unreserved seats ?   Thanks.

Hi Danny,
Can you confirm the Upper River stand is an unallocated members area. If not what is.
