I see that after the series success against NZ the calls for the necessity of introducing 20:20 franchise cricket have been stilled for the time being. It's amazing that when England have done well in any format over the last few years it has, apparently, had nothing to do with county set up but when it goes badly it is course necessary to change the county game from top to bottom and get rid of some counties ( copyright R.Willis,M.Atherton and D.Topley).
