Evening,

To those who attended today,

Please let us know if you have some feedback on how we can improve your T20 Match day experience

Please keep to off pitch matters, thanks, Danny

Saturday seemed to run smoothly but think Stewards need to advise people (especially drinkers) to keep their language a bit cleaner as there were 1 or 2 using the F word quite liberally just outside the Pavilion, also a few people were standing in the gangways - not a major problem but with a bigger crowd it could have been.

These two weren't by any chance a guy in a turban and his chubby chum?

I was going to comment on behaviour. Then I thought as it is only T20, I will never witness it. They can swear, use their mobile phone and get up during play as much as they like as far I am concerned.

Please would the club advise the attendance for the game?

Approx 4,000 which was slightly short of our target.

We had our highest junior attendance for a long time which is great. We would ideally not be playing mid May T20 games, we compete against the football season, ITFC game, Weet Ham and Spurs at home.

Other games selling really well, we have a major push for the Gloucestershire game aimed at recreational players.

Thanks, Danny

i did think it strange that the one game we had scheduled for mid afternoon clashed with a lot of local football.  This game would have been better on a Friday night and then a game in June or July on a Sunday afternoon.

Hi, to confirm we have no say on when games take place in terms of date / time. Thanks, Danny

Hi Danny, thats fair enough although is there no grounds for shifting fixtures if a county knows that a certain fixture will suffer because of other local events.

Afraid not, obviously the Ipswich Town game was scheduled late on, with it being on Sky we are unable to move any timings. Plus we had sold 80% of the tickets we did sell before the Ipswich game was known

Thanks, Danny

Danny may not want to comment on this - but George Dobell was suggesting that there is a deliberate policy to shaft the T20 in order to justify a Franchise for the big boys. I usually go with cock-up rather than conspiracy, but now I'm not sure sure...

Probably more to do with Sky wanting to show a game on the Saturday. It strikes me that if you're after a football orientated audience that playing T20 at 3pm on a Saturday during the football close season might not be the worst idea. They're used to turning up at that time and it would also facilitate some away support?

On the question of franchises, which now seems to have an unstoppable head of steam, who on here would go to watch a super team at Lords or The Oval, or even Stratford? I don't think I would.

I wouldn't watch a super team in my back garden so definitely wouldn't pay to do it.
