Parking

The Match Pack info for the Gloucester game, includes the Parking information with a £1 charge per car.
Is this Parking for everyone, or only members?

If it is only for members, perhaps it should be stated clearly.

Danny,

How much are we paying the council for the use of Meteor Way on the fourth day of home County Championship matches ?  Just wondered.

Supplementary question: do you think the pitches currently prepared at Chelmsford enhance membership value or detract from it ?

Good second question.

Danny.
Whilst being extremely grateful for getting a disabled space in the car park is there any way after the match that a few cars can be let out every now and again by holding up the crowds for a few minutes thus avoiding the road being completely full of cars when they are all let out at once. Thanks.

Danny,

I was recently reminded that I hadn't received a response, especially to the second question.

Perhaps even you are getting worn down by the whole sorry state of affairs.

Well there was a bit of a Twitter meltdown during the Somerset T20 game.

Can't be easy having to continually polish a turd.

Having parked at Meteor Way on the last day v Leicestershire, exited the ground at the end of play / lunchtime 13-00 hrs , asked what time it would be closed , to be informed (via radio )  half hour after the end of play ( 13-30 ) , even though they where informed play had just ended .

Sums up the current state of the club, unfortunetly .

I was told, as I entered Meteor Way this morning, that the car park would close 30 minutes  after the game  finished, so at least they are consistent.
However 30 minutes seems a bit quick especially when it finished at lunchtime.
An hour would seem more reasonable.

Yes Perov, this was my point .
Can understand the usual half hour on a normal day, but this game was going to finish by 14-30 whatever the outcome.
If unable to be flexible in making a common sense decision on the closing of the car park, one wonders on how they operate the rest of the club ?

What is the situation with parking for members at Colchester this year?
Is there a daily charge, and if so how much?
Thanks.
