That sounds encouraging ! Obviously no alternatives should anyone need replacing from the firsts then.
Pettini and Panesar played aswell as Liam Gough. Also Micheal Bates played aswell. We got 98 all out in the first innings so it was lost from there. Panesar got 4-42. The fact is with no Cook, Bopara, ten Doeschate away plus Velani injured and Taylor(who has been scoring runs for England under 19s in Australia) missing then we had all the half decent batsman minus Pettini playing against Cardiff. Also Topley and Salisbury both injured no staff bowlers either.
