Essex V Sussex
« on: July 02, 2014, 06:02:37 PM »
Went over Garons today. Career best of 183 for Greg Smith and looked good. Porter took a few wkts so far in 2nd innings and 8 in the first. Anyone know much about him? Looked quite good from what I saw today

Good we are going to need some bowlers with Masters and Napier nearing the end. How did my mate Saj get on?

If he could only manage to strike that match on the right side of the matchbox...

We've seen the last of him in the 1st team ... or any 1st team for that matter.

His contract expires this year. Unless he was injured along with everyone else in May, he would seem to be no better than 9th choice seamer.

I'm trying to imagine the explosions on this site, should he get another contract.....

We should have seen the last of him 2 years ago.

The club of course now like to pretend that Saj doesn't exist.

But if you read the 2012 report they praise his arrival to the heavens.

It is Jamie Porter. He plays for Chingford in the Premier League & spent 3 years with MCC YC's.

Amazingly (don't all groan at once) he is in the squad for the T20 game on Friday against Surrey.

Looks like Eddie the Eagle tomorrow will have put on a few pounds and be waddling aimlessly around the outfield...
...unlike Lanky who busts moves, rather than waistbands.  ::)
