Thanks. My initial observation is...too many committees. I'll comment further when I've conjured up the minerals to read the constitution.

The Club's Constitution mentions an Executive Committee (EC) but there is no separate listing of its members or detailed responsibilities.

There is a Members Committee (MC) but it is not mentioned in the Constitution (unless I have missed it).

What powers/responsibilities does the MC have?

Under section 4
i. to engage such officials and employees upon such terms and
at such remuneration as the Board may deem appropriate, and to
dismiss or retire any of them as may be necessary;

Who would be your candidates for the dismiss or retire clause?

Daren,

How do members best move to remove the existing coaching team who have proved themselves to be sub standard?

Many thanks for your time

Surely Spoons is in charge of his coaching team, including appointments and sackings? Darren, please correct me if I am wrong.
And, tempting as the "sack 'em all" response is after yesterday's abysmal performance, how much would it cost? All the coaching team are under contact, surely.
And who could we draft in for the top job at this late stage of the season? Sam Allardyce?

Huggins has been around forever with no discernible improvement in batting.

He should definitely get the chop.

We've actually batted pretty well over the last couple of years before this one.  We had the most centuries last season.  I think the changing of the pitches this year at Chelmsford has had a big impact.  Last years batting stats were very good.  We've gambled on producing bowler friendly wickets and it's done our batsmen no good whatsoever.
