The headline in the grumbler suggests someone is going! Does anyone know the details?

When we find out. If it happens at all. The Grumbler can express his dissatisfaction personally to the player. That is far more productive than having messages read out by the superannuated members of the commentary team.

I may be wrong, but this sounds like it's about Jamie Porter whose contract is up in 2027 and it was suggested in a newspaper article that he hasn't ruled out moving to another club when his deal is up. This was discussed on here last week: https://www.essexoutfielder.co.uk/index.php?topic=3034.0

Looking at the age of Jamie Porter. How many more seasons, would we have got out of him?

Hello Tiger, How are your teeth today? Still stopping us meeting at the next game?

JP's going nowhere. More likely to be Jones or Bennett.

It?s a link to the article with the Porter paragraph that was on here a couple weeks ago saying he?d not ruled out leaving Essex when his contract ran out at the end of next season.   Nothing new.

As for a meeting. If this game is a complete debacle. I think I will give the chance to see another one, a miss.

Such a shame, I was looking forward to hearing your positive ideas about how we can improve the club. Game after that?

You are assuming that the ongoing game at Taunton, will be a disaster. If so, a meeting may be a pleasant surprise.

One suggestion for improvement. Is that when anyone, thinks of commercial property development or changing the legal status of the club. They go and lie down in a darkened room, with a cold towel wrapped round their head. Until the feeling goes away.

And now for a positive one? We are all members and all want the club to do well, right?
