The member list is 20 pages. 15 of them are members, who have made no posts whatsoever.

Wonder how many of those have been employees of the club.

It is around 300 hundred people, so the club must have been very big at one time. If they were all employees.

Someone who already deleted himself. It was the one, who I wished I could thank for all he had done. Unfortunately, I did not observe him doing anything.

Looking at the posters who have made a handful of posts. This clean up may remove Toppers and also Nigel Hillard as well. Shall we have a poll, on which one to retain?

Accounts have to have been activated in the last five years , posts or just viewed .
If not within the criteria they will be deleted, regardless of your poll .

Why?

Data needs to be updated, could be charged for storage which is unused.

I think it is unlawful to keep data which is no longer being used.

Hope to be still ok, as i am now exiled to North Somerset this site keeps me in touch with my beloved Essex, and i cannot of course follow my local team because of Anthony Gibson and the anti-Essex faction

That comment has moved you up a number of places and another 54 posts, and you will be on page 2 in the league table.

Longtime lurker here who values the work you all put in to keeping this site going. As I am no longer mobile, so can't attend the ground anymore, your work is greatly appreciated.

Let me reassure members, activation of the account is required within the last five years.
The number of posts made in this period is irrelevant.

Many more do view but do not want to reply to comments, which is fine, but there are many accounts opened and then never activated thereafter.

It is not the date when the account was opened, it is the date of the last activation, so anyone who has not activate the account since Feb 2021 .

I sympathise - I was there for the match in 2019 and saw the state of the 'pitch'.

The last time I went to Taunton Peter Siddle [playing for Somerset] had to speak to the crowd to stop them abusing our batsmen.

I was in one of the Members stand and the language was appalling - the stewards did nothing to stop the smoking or constant standing up during an over. I'll never go there again.
