. Masters was most economical with just 23 from his 4 overs which is great considering they got 189

unfortunately Tendo couldn't quite lose him in the field though, where he gave away a further 23 runs

Although Mills bowled 3 no balls meaning free hits as well still ended up with 3-41, although i suspect he will be with the coach today making sure no more no balls are bowled as they are very rare in modern T20 cricket. Masters was most economical with just 23 from his 4 overs which is great considering they got 189

Think Nick Knight summed-up Mills well afterwards - he'll get you wickets but needs to work on a few things - fortunately the free hits didn't make any difference!

When Napier is fit who does he replace?  I guess Masters or one of Westley/Foakes ?

And as Sir Richard Hadlee once said, if you want to avoid no-balls, shorten (not lengthen) your run up a yard!

tough one here.  Personally, I'd be looking at hoddy and asking him to play champs/50 overs only unless we're short, and ask him to help Ty and Reece on their length/accuracy..nothing major, just a little mentoring stuff.  And to work with Salisbury/Moore as well.  Just assist Silverwood and keep fresh for the longer formats.  He's earned that.  (But he'll have loved that win last night over Kent..big style!)

Napes is fit, he's back in for me.  Not as economical as DM in T20, but he's90 mph of the short run, better in the field and can bat.  can properly bat....

Given Tymal's abilty with the bat, we're going down to nine with people that clear the boundary.  it's a very very strong team.

My Hampshire pal (and he's a really good bloke) was very impressed with our batting last night.

Great win and still room for improvement, with Mills run up problems and Westley running out Ryder and then getting out himself, straight after, leaving two new batsman in . But has RTD stated, it's up to the senior players to come good at  the right time, (and still had Fozzie still to bat ). But still fantastic result neverless.

I'd agree with Nick Knight here though, I though Tom's knock was excellent and he's hitting the ball really well.  fingers crossed he continues to do so.

Absolutely right, Masters has to be wrapped in cotton wool, looked after & most importantly not over bowled. If he can help the other bowlers & pass on bits of advice here & there then so much the better.

Yes, scored runs playing  some proper cricket shots rather than trying to knock the cover off the ball .  Saw him talking to KWRF, during the last championship game at Chelmsford , so might had sought some excellent advice .
