So the only stream, has been taken over to advertise an Indian newspaper and Chandigrah University. If Essex thinks, it will encourage people to buy tickets. That worked well, didn't it.

Is there a live stream for this?

It's on Sky Sports cricket. Sometimes they make them free to view on their YouTube channel, but not this time it seems.

The crowd number is disastrous. Whoever decided to jack up the prices and double up with the women's game should be sacked.

Go woke go broke.

Amir has just put one down. The commentator asked, why is someone not fully mobile at Backward Point?

Maybe because it's on a Thursday night? And the team hasn't been performing well. Were tickets still available today? It may be that the tickets have been sold and people are just staying at home.

Dominic Cork on commentary: "The good news for Essex is that there are now 4 points for a win". They have to actually get a win first.

The whole atmosphere (players/crowd) is poor.

The Trumpet has just raised a half-hearted cheer. Play it again and announce all together now or not at all.

221 would be the biggest ever Essex chase in a T20. Cox and Pepper would need to do something incredible to get anywhere near.

I think that a total eclipse of the sun is more likely.

At the 14/15 over mark it looked like we'd done a good job of reining them in, but some very poor bowling in the final overs has enabled them to rack up 220. Sam Cook should not be bowling at the death in these games, a strange choice from Harmer.

On recent form you wouldn't back us to chase anywhere near 220 but hope springs eternal.

Not seen a crowd this bad for T20 in a long time. Saw the prices combined with how crap the team are and it all makes sense. Why would anyone pay for this garbage when they can pay half the price for some Hundred cricket in August.

Anyone would think that the Essex management have done this deliberately to make the *undred look good.
