Good effort to qualify.  Birmingham a better team than us but who knows.  We've played better away than at home this year.  Won 5, lost 2.  The 2 we lost at Somerset and Hampshire we probably should have won both so we've certainly had our chances in every away match.

Great atmosphere and real tension at the end. First time I've been to a T20 at the Oval, and I must say they do it rather well. Excellent win over star-studded opposition but quite the rollercoaster - when Pepper and Lawrence were together we appeared to be waltzing it in style, then we looked to have blown it, and then.. well you know what then.

Pepper was fantastic today, an exceptional innings.

I hope that six that Khushi hit is the making of him as a cricketer. Something like that can honestly be a career changer psychologically for a younger player.

Presumably Danny Boy won't play in the QF...because he'll be at the battle of Headingley.

Remember how Tendo became a different player after a matchwinning 50 in a one-day game against Middlesex? He'd never looked the part before that, and then.. well, again, you know what then.

Das or Westley to replace him?
Buttleman in for Rossington?

Derbyshire beat Warwicks twice so we certainly have a chance.

Anyone can beat anyone in this, guess those embarrassed by us going through won't watch? If we lose so be it but we are a small county competing well in all fronts so far, with off field distractions too which have stopped on field strengthening so well done.

As Jason says we should have really won 2 more games at least so despite our woeful bowling and fielding our all at them batsmen have done us proud. One day they will all fire and we will get 250.

Not sure why your so keen on Rossington nat . He is certainly due...not sure what though! . DELETED . In all seriousness he is due a score surely but think buttlemena should play and in  the CC st stanley Park too. Sends all the wrong messages if Rossington comes back into the cc side in terrible form whereas buttleman did very well last time.

I am sure Anthony Gibson is delighted that Somerset's win secures Essex's QF spot!

Oh dear we find ourselves in the mighty qtr finals. Was this supposed to happen?

Thank you Somerset for not taking your foot off the gas.

I did not realise Kent were so depleted, losing Bell- Drummond, Denny and Kalashnikov.

Maybe this our year, it is T20 after all.

Well done lads.

It must have really hurt him to realise that - his loathing of us in beyond a joke and very unprofessional.
