Kent (H)

Cook rested to manage his workload. So presumably Beard or Allison to come in. The other possibility is playing Nijjar, but that's unlikely.

Harmer, Allison, Beard, Buttleman, Critchley, Das, Khushi, Lawrence, Nijjar, Pepper, Sams, Snater, Walter, Westley

Yeah cos bowing 4 overs and fielding for 20 overs per day might be a little hurty for them.

Gerron wiv it.

Bad time to rest Little Chef - it means probably playing Alison or Snater, who've both been tonked in this year's blast and Beard, who hasn't been considered worthy of selection for a while. Don't think we'll play Nijjar.

We might think that we can beat k*nt without our best bowler...who loves taking K*nt wickets.

I bet the K*nt batsmen can't believe their luck.

The other team won the toss and put Essex in.

Nijjar in for Cook. Bit of a surprise.

Khushi, Lawrence, Pepper, Das, Walter, Critchley, Sams, Buttleman, Harmer, Snater, Nijjar

Batting first again and with that bowling attack, we'll need at least 250 for me to feel confident at the interval!

I'd still be nervous.  ;D

Listening to Paul Newton struggling to contain his anger at the way we just throw the bat at everything in T20 is so funny!

Another three wickets lost in the powerplay. Whether we win tonight or not, that is unsustainable against any good team in this comp.

Is Snater going for the run out record in a season? #village

Becoming a waste of a shirt in current form. If he's not getting out himself, he's running others out. Let's see if he redeems himself or costs us again with the ball.

Good effort to get to 184 after the early and mid innings slump. Excellent innings from Buttleman to regain the momentum. A pity that Lawrence or Critchley didn’t take it closer to the end, but 184 is something to defend. Fingers crossed.

Well surely you should know the answer to that.
