Crowds at the Blast
« on: May 25, 2023, 11:21:44 PM »
I was watching the London derby tonight on Sky and was unpleasantly surprised by the number of closed stands. A fixture that used to be a guaranteed sell out. I remember Essex playing there in 2019 and losing in front of 26k. It looked like they only just scraped half that number tonight.

Colin Graves, Tom Harrison, Sky Sports and the rest of their crisp cronies have the blood of the Blast on their hands. Please Messrs Gould and Thompson, do something before it's too late!

That was in July.
May on a school night, cooler evenings, probably not such an attraction.

All part of the master plan. T20 Blast will become a 2nd class/rate comp at the expense of the *undred. Unless we rise up and do something about it.
