Agree about Beard. I would like him involved more. Also thing Porter could do a job. Not looking good for Nijar though. Even with Critchley injured he is not selected.
Got a lot of sympathy for Nijjar. Been stuck in the 2XI for years, taking wickets, scoring runs but can't get a run in the 1XI. Plays on a postage stamp of a ground at Chelmsford.
He could have made a career at somewhere like Derbyshire.
