Watched a bit of Pepper against Rashid again and it may just be me, but the way he bats looks really akin to James Foster. The way he uses he feet, his sweeps and reverse sweeps. He's far from the finished article, his raw power-hitting is still lacking and it's why he's yet to do the business on a big ground. But there's definitely a platform for him to kick on from.
Does anyone know how good his keeping is? Would it be worth saving on Rossington's wages and going all-in on Pepper for all three formats next year? Having said that, the CEO clearly loves Rossington based on his live stream commentary so I'd be shocked if he doesn't sign permanently.
