Members re admission to Games
« on: July 09, 2021, 03:31:07 PM »
Forgive my continued confusion about Covid and our club but am I now right in assuming that with the  full lifting of restrictions on 19th July I can happily look forward to a day watching cricket on the 29th versus Middlesex in the 50 over reserve tournament, or are their pitfalls on the horizon e.g. we can't afford to open up to those who have already paid to get in? I hope so as I am looking forward to a stress free day unencumbered by bureaucracy and obstructionism, and to being welcomed joyously by the club's committee and administration.

Yes -  I emailed the club and it's back to business as normal - members can just turn up - no need to book tickets etc etc

Is the game on the 20th July against Cambridgeshire at Chelmsford still on, as it should be the first game back?

I ask this as many counties have cancelled or changed the dates of these fixtures against minor counties

The brown trouser wearing is still continuing elsewhere. Starting with the Premium tickets, the tickets for the NFL games have just gone on sale. Due to a worry that you can catch Covid off a piece of paper, only electronic tickets are being accepted. A possible work around for people without a device was mentioned and I have e mailed Spurs.

I said that if there is no workaround I want a full refund and if I had seen the full terms and conditions I would never have bought any ticket at all.
