"We Listened, We Acted"
« on: April 13, 2014, 09:15:58 PM »
On another dark day for Essex CCC it's nice to know the official website can still deliver hilarity in spades.

I'd extend this list of duties to selecting the team, giving motivational talks during the match (bring own crockery) and recruitment of overseas players...

Looks suspiciously like the club is short of cash and short of employees.

& short of sense if they think 20/20 seating arrangements is what members are concerned about.

We dug our heels in, we buried our heads in the sand.

"The E.C.G, Chelmsford: All times are  4.30pm – 7.15pm | 10 minutes before the close of lay for 30 minutes – total of 3 hours 15 minutes per game"

Close of lay? Careless or a bit too near the truth? Laying down and surrendering .....?

Perhaps they were getting confused with interaction of the women's cricket X1

Very disappointed that the ice cream company has changed.
No more Rossi's, (and my favourite banana creamy lolly for £1.50).

A single cornet is £2.50 and a double is £3.50, much more expensive than the previous vendors.
No cheap lollies for the kids, with nearly everything £2.50 or more.

Rip off prices, not want we want at the County Ground.

No Rossi  ::)

I can't buy Rossi ice cream near where I live and that was an incentive to travel to visit an Essex home game .....

No more Rossi's

I guess the Status Quo couldn't last forever.

Shame, because I like an "Ice in the Sun".

So is it fair to say the members don't like what they're proposing?

Will they listen?

Will they act?

Or will they they keep playing the same old tune?

We want the prices "Down Down", we won't "Roll Over Lay Down"
The members should be told "Whatever You Want" as long as you don't "Break The Rules".
I'm gonna sit back "In My Chair" and see if anything happens.
