Sounded like that was a good even pitch which rewarded good bowling, but Kent got about 25 over par due to the chuckle brothers we have bowling “pace”. I don’t feel angry about Snater anymore, I actually feel sorry for him. He’s so woefully out of his depth, it must be embarrassing for him to face some of his teammates. If he was English, playing club games at the weekend would be the extent of his cricketing career.
Quinn is not much better, and only gets by due to taking the odd wicket in the format. It’s the worst T20 bowling attack we’ve ever had by a mile, for that reason I can’t really blame the batters. I thought they got a good total against Middlesex that ABD made look smaller than it was due to the toss ups getting served his way. Against Surrey the batsman did very well to get a total that was almost unchaseable, and tonight they’ve had to chase a total about 25 runs higher than it should have been against a very good bowling attack.
