How can Amir have visa problems? He was pictured on the official site bowling last week at Chelmsford. He was playing in the World Cup until recently so he must have had a visa then.

No Amir!......Visa problems apparently!!...

Has there not been enough time to sort these 'problems' out?

Thats exactly what I would have thought, but no, the official line from the club is that they are still waiting for a sporting visa for him to come from the Home Office!....Sounds like someone has messed up...BIG TIME!!

The delay is not unusual for him.  I guess it's because he has a criminal record.

McCullum was a big name signing & he was a severe disappointment.

De Villiers is semi retired so he might not come off.

Did alright against us.

True but we're another poor one day side.

Just seen the team and that bowling lineup. Good thing Middlesex have shown mercy and bowled first, I’d have fancied them for 250 otherwise.

It's much better than last years.  We had Harmer at 7 last year.  Snater has been scoring runs for the 2nds this year.

Harmie is arguably the top spinner in world red ball cricket right now.

And a great bloke

But he is vulnerable in one day and especially T20.

Agreed. It doesn’t make sense for him to be captain as he then has to play and with Zampa  one of our two overseas we will always be fielding two spinners. I seem to recall he was dropped for some T20s last year.

Wrap Harmer in cotton wool, tell him to forget about T20, have a rest and prepare for the Kent Championship match.
He is ineffective in T20, and we don't want him getting injured.
