It has just been announced that he is back with us for another T20 campaign in 2019.

Until we can't qualify for the QF and then he'll b****r off again. Lessons not learnt from last season.

The club allowed him to go.  They obviously weren't too bothered otherwise he wouldn't have been asked back.  If we're bad enough to get knocked out with 4 or 5 games to go again then it's not really going to matter whether he plays in the last few or not, anyway.

On the other side if he had stayed whilst we couldn't qualify then people would have asked why we continued to pay/play him!
Looking at last season's stats etc it wasn't down to him that we didn't qualify , he played his part & did his bit.

Batsmen win T20 matches - so we sign 2 Overseas Bowlers for our Campaign again !!. Not criticising Siddle and Zampa at all, but the only difference to last year will be the addition of Delport - not sure if that is enough to improve our performance significantly. Looks like more of the same to me - our current playing squad are not designed to perform in T20 without batting additions.

We've signed Zampa ad Cameron Delport [batsman] - Siddle is not signed for T20.

Which leaves an overseas berth available. I think I'd like us to go for an all rounder for balance. . Someone in the Dan Christian mould. Even with Delport signed the batting does look light - the line up suggested elsewhere with Harmer at 7 oozes vulnerability and if you add another batter (Lawrence?) then you are relying quite a lot on Ravi as the fifth bowler.
