Gloucs away

Another win to keep us in the mix, amazingly we have gone from bottom to 4th in 2 games & if we win both should qualify probably in 3rd possibly but more likely 4th - can't wait for Notts away again!!
Well done to the team again, it may come down to NRR which is very close overall, Middx who are bottom are + whereas leaders Glam are - which is remarkable, what a crazy Group & the North isn't much different with 7 competing for 4 places, who needs City Franchises?

Have to say that I would hope that the pitch inspectors should be summoned for this one.

RTD probably made the wrong decision to bowl first but it was dry and deteriated badly with height and spin.

Chopra won us the game by smashing the powerplay to all areas, that apart we struggled.

Amir and Jamie were a class apart and Ravi had no luck, but all class teams find a way to get over the line and we did today on a pitch that was sporting to say the least.

We'll almost certainly finish 3rd if we win both.  Sussex are above us on the same points, we play them last game so if we win both we obviously finish above them.  Then only Surrey and Gloucester could pip us but their run rate is both quite a bit worse, so unlikely.  Whether we can win 5 in a row I'd be sceptical about.  I'm not sure we're good enough for that.  I fear we may be due a defeat.

Win our two games and we're through, no run rate needed. But the thought of Notts away in a quarter final without Amir is terrifying. Anyone know the world record T20 score in an innings?

We're very unlikely to play Notts.  Win both and we very likely to finish 3rd (2nd if Hampshire lose their last game to Somerset) and if we don't win both we almost certainly wont qualify.

Another good win so well done. Good to get Klinger out so cheaply. Any chance we might do the same to Stevens on Thursday?!
