Larry missed the train? Or Ronnie didn't, and brought one of chef's hunting rifles?

Or is there not enough in the budget to pay for a visit to Birmingham?

Best of luck to our very own Eddie the Eagle today... After weeks of training the Finals Day Mascot Race awaits!

Sadly Ellie the Eagle failed a fitness test with @cci_physio this morning so will be cheering from the stands at Edgbaston! #CmonEddie

Two tweets on the Essex Cricket Twitter this morning.  Eddie was supposed to be there!

Rather ironic considering what happened when we were in the quarter finals at Edgbaston this year

If Eddie had run he would have started well, looked a possible winner then blew it some yards before the end when it would be easier to win!!

Watched part of the Final & heard Bumble say that apparently within the game Lancs are regarded as chokers - for Lancs read Essex!!
Additionally Nasser said ,possibly a dig at Essex, that Lancs have apparently won more 1 day matches than any other County but obviously it's about winning Trophies, Sound familiar to us??

Most counties have won the T20 bauble now haven't they?

The fact that we haven't when it's all the club care about truly is an indictment.

Not quite true VP but I see where your thinking comes from, we are the only side from the original South Group who haven't which tells you a lot. Winning more Group games overall than all the other teams hasn't got us anywhere, it's about when you actually win them ie in 1/4, Semi & Finals .
