A bit tight at the end but job done anyway, we'll need to improve though especially for the big one next Friday v Hants our jinx team. Batting wise Ravi seemed to take a long time to get going, Nick Browne batted really well scoring useful runs with proper cricket shots but Napes' assault on Wagg (4 6's in one over) really turned it our way. When Glam batted Ingram played superbly & once we got him out we were home & dry, some good bowling by Essex backed up by some fine fielding ,Pettini was excellent, there were some great catches held by both sides & generally it was an enjoyable game (always better when Essex win!!).
The crowd was very vocal & raucous, largely good humoured but a few individuals were quite selfish in continually getting up during overs & blocking the view despite being reuested not to move about during overs - the drinkers generally ignore all requests for civilised behaviour.
Can't wait for next Fri - COYE
