From reading the report. I would suggest that if he had pleaded guilty he would not have been disbarred. As he contested the case and by so doing accused someone else of falsifying his CV, he should be sacked as our Chairman.

Well if he isn't sacked then the members will have to do it (EGM etc.).

Essex County Cricket Club said its board would meet at the weekend to discuss an appropriate course of action. Be interesting to see what the outcome is.

He should save them the trouble and do the decent thing immediately.

The way it's going we'll have to have Hilliard back.

Now he has been found guilty  on one count and disbarred  from being a barrister, will he resign or get fired?  Not had much luck since John Farragher was stitched up, perhaps the members should be allowed  to choose a replacement this time.

Was he one of those who had JF replaced? Big Ronnie was proactive in that removal iirc maybe he could return with some cheap orthopaedic shoes for aged members.

Reported by the BBC now:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj4y9llqy2wo

'The chairman of Essex County Cricket Club (ECCC) has been disbarred by the Barristers' Tribunal Service over claims he lied about studying at Oxford University.

Criminal lawyer Anurag Mohindru faced an allegation of fabricating his academic credentials to boost a job application to a top barrister's chamber.

Mr Mohindru was immediately suspended following the five-day tribunal, pending any appeal, and was ordered to pay nearly ?55,000 in costs. A second professional misconduct charge was dropped.

Essex County Cricket Club said its board would meet at the weekend "to discuss an appropriate course of action".'

Unfortunately the club is mirroring the government. Last week Andy Tennant left rather 'surprisingly' and now this. Not good for the club in any aspect.

Blimey! Debarred, homeless, destitute. Well it could have been worse he could have allegedly used an outmoded expression!

Irregardless of anyone?s political persuasion, quote is irrelevant to comings and goings with the club .
