Presume the new entrance has access to the disabled parking area for those who require it ?
Any provision in the future for a footpath directly pass flats to join public footpath near Busy Bee Nursury for better access to Meteor Way ?

Judging by the photo there isn't even a footpath, tough luck disabled people , better luck next time ! ECCC all over, thought the ground would move closer to complying with disabled access legislation not further from it ! Mind you if every pedestrian has got to chance their luck then I guess that's equality. Like the signs say, "Business as usual".
Looking forward to next phase of development, the winding up order.

So what is going to happen to the Memorial gates - will they just be redundant?

Essex members and supporters, including me, paid for these gates as we were told they would be for the entrance to the ground.

Thank you for your questions. In summary to the points raised; You are able to access the disabled spaces in front of the Cricket Store via the new entrance - this hasn't changed from the access during the season.

The access road (Shire Gate) round to the side of the cricket centre, through to the new apartments is now open. This does have public access through to Virgin Gym, Busy Bees and towards Meteor Way.

The gates will be kept and are currently being used for pedestrian access, including wheelchairs, into the ground.
