Lamentable performances by the "senior" players Smith and Pettini today, if they aren't interested then quit. And what does Shaun Tait do for the rest of the week ? Could we with some practice I think but no sign of him today. Can't see Essex sticking overseas players in the 2's a la Yorkshire , haven't got the guts for the big decisions.
