I know, I know, its another moan but why, when the off season is six months long does the new scoreboard have to be constructed when the cricket starts ? First we had the framework slowly obliterating the old scorebox during last months friendlies, now we won't have a decent board at all for this weeks match. I would have thought it would have been a useful opportunity to sort out any teething problems which will inevitably crop up and which will now have to be sorted during the first championship match. Tomorrow we will have a very basic board which will mainly be visible to the part of the ground not open to the public, (ground maintenance - again, why now ? ). We all know the club regard the start of the season as the first T20 match but really, its almost as if they aren't ready for us.
