Quarter final ticket policy - any queries?
« on: July 19, 2014, 03:49:32 PM »
Hi, obviously unusual for us to start a thread, however, we want to ensure members, supporters and hospitality guests have outlets to ask any questions regarding the ticket policy for the now confirmed home quarter final. Please see website for details.

Members will get their usual discount, obviously the priority period is there but with an exceptionally tight turnaround.

We will know who we play by end of play on Friday next week (25th) but won't know date / time until later that evening or even early Saturday morning.

We want to create a great atmosphere to encourage the boys even further. The game will be live on sky. We will be contacting the council the moment we know of date (we will inform them Monday of potentials) to arrange Meteor way and where relevant High chelmer time extensions.

Thanks, Danny

Looking at the BBC fixtures for T20 has the 4 QFs times as below (presuming they are correct)

Fri 1 Aug 5.30pm

Sat 2 Aug 5.30pm and 7pm

Sun 3 Aug 5.30pm

They are not 100% confirmed as we understand at this stage

Unlikely. I don't imagine there'll be any overlap.

Half past five seems a bit early for prime TV too. Wouldn't be surprised if none of those is correct.

BBC wrong - surely not!

The Sunday one surely would be afternoon and not as late as that. Just checked the T20 Blast official site and just says TBC for times so maybe be a load of tosh from the BBC

BBC putting out misleading information for events broadcast on Sky? I can't imagine that.

Danny,

I'm fully aware that we will not know our opponents and date of our Quarter Final until the weekend, however, why could we not start issuing 'Quarter Final' tickets ( Non Refundable) to Members from say today?
Many of the Members ( especially the Seniors & Juniors) who want tickets, will be available to attend on all possible dates & by being pro-active, it would relieve the pressure on your staff this coming weekend!

A fair question, reality is if we offered that we would not have been able to process them last night and we are doing a huge amount behind the scenes this week in preparation for yesterday, Friday, the weekend and the RL50 / Quarter final next week

Thanks

Danny, sorry to harp on but would it not have helped if people ,such as myself, could have picked up their tickets before or during the Leics game on July 31st which would save the hassle of posting many out & also relieving the undoubted pressure?

Danny,

As a member i think i can buy 1 at members rate (normally £11) - is it right i am then restricted to just 1 other at guests rates (normally £20)?

Thanks

Thanks for message

Members can purchase tickets for themselves / other Members (when showing a valid Membership card) and 1 guest per Member. The guest ticket will be charged at the public price which we will announce Friday / Saturday morning.

thanks, Danny

Danny

Four of us (all members) want 4 reserved seats together for the QF. None of us can get to the ground over the weekend (at Football tournaments or at Worcester).

Just to be clear.

On Saturday can I either

1. Buy 4 reserved tickets for members by phone

or

2. Buy 4 reserved tickets for members on-line

Do I require Membership Numbers for each ticket.

Are there any problems likely to arise.

Thanks
