Batty: "We didn't score enough runs, it's as simple as that. We needed more runs in the powerplay. "

No criticism of KP, then. ;)

Is there anyone out there who likes KP??  Lots of bashing here and everywhere in the media.  I can think of one person who likes him - oh and just to say he's opted out of a trip to north Wales for Surrey's latest champo match which brings his grand total of champo matches played this season by KP to a whopping ZERO !!

KP forgets (or never knew) that cricket is a team game - he should retire if he can't commit to all fixtures.

Strauss laided into him http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/cricket/kevinpietersen/10948593/Andrew-Strauss-caught-on-microphone-calling-Kevin-Pietersen-the-c-word-via-Sky-broadcast-from-Lords.html

Strauss should get a knighthood for that - gone up in my estimation!

So KP wants to play for England still - more chance of playing a champo match this season then that happening and unless he plays regularly in the champ he's got no chance!!

I'm almost certain 1 win guarantees a top 4 finish & 2 guarantees a home tie in the 1/4s, just hope we haven't used up all our good fortune yet!!
If I remember the last 2/3 years correctly though the overall winners have breezed through the Group etc, hope we continue this trend.
