Well done to England on their test series victory aganist pakistan   i attended day 4 at lords. Pakistans batting has been very poor so far in this series so i reserve judement on how good this England team is. it looks promising under joe root.

 With the Aussies over here next season defending the Ashes the bowling attack looks more settled, just need the top order to score decent runs to make it very interesting. Got the winter games in SA to brush up .

It's a good bowling attack on pitches where you don't need a spinner.  The problem is balancing the team when you do.

I can't believe how many tickets are still on sale for the Third series.

I know it's Pakistan, and I know it's September, but looking at Day 1 at Edgbaston, there are roughly 5,500 tickets still to be sold for day one - and some of them are the 'cheap seats - ?70 or thereabouts.

Seems a sad statement if that's the state of Test cricket!

 Future test series are South Africa away and Aussies at home, spinner not required if the groundsmen get the memo.
