Essex County Cricket Club hereby give notice of the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will take place on Monday 20 July 2026 at 7pm. The meeting will be held in the Doug Insole Pavilion at the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground, Chelmsford and is an in-person meeting for Club Members only.

It's really unfair to people who live far away now and would have to get a hotel overnight to attend.

 How expensive does a zoom cost ?

It is in person only. So that only those with a vested interest and Essex CCC fanboys and girls are able to attend. The ones who would sell all their furniture, to support the club.

  Do not live in CM area, so anyone present, please kindly report the doings please.

 AGM literature has been sent out via emails, so take a look at inboxes or event junk mail .

You should receive security code and need your membership number to access to process to voting process .

 A reminder voting is still open for board positions ahead of Monday?s AGM. Please can everyone who is a current member use their vote? I don?t care if you look past my name (I?m one of the club?s preferred candidates), but to keep the club going as a members club, everyone should use opportunities like these to participate. It would be great to see a decent number of votes collected and have members show they want to be key in helping decide the club?s future. Thanks!

I will be voting but not for any of the recommended candidates. The current Board should not be rewarded for their stewardship of the club in recent years.

I have not received any emails. Also, nothing has arrived in the post.

As I have had my enjoyment of every Championship game ruined by one member, who is on the spectrum. Also, a few others to a lesser extent. I think I will check out of the rubber room.
