We do not need a Forum, to make clear the sensible members thoughts on the current position.

24 hours notice is totally unacceptable.

They should publish the results to ALL members.

Will the Forum, contain the following.

A statement, not a question along the lines of. I love Essex, or former player. Who is no longer involved with the club.

A debate on a subject, that has time spent on it. In inverse proportion to its importance. For example, problems with the scoreboard.

After the meeting has concluded. Two or three of the most objectionable of the older members. Buttonhole the CEO and Coach, who are trying to leave and get back to what they should be doing.

So one day's notice and 30 minutes to discuss matters that concern/interest members. The Board really do dislike the membership.

Perhaps someone could ask why 1st team men?s games have to be played on the edge of the square with Mickey Mouse sized boundaries.

Many  home draws last season in Championship  matches, we're played on hybrid pitches. I heard that some players ( Harmer, Porter etc) wanted all Championship  games on natural tracks.
The 6 hybrid pitches are  more towards the centre and far side, near the flats on the public side.
Hence the games on natural pitches are nearer the Pavillion, that's  the reason.

What  other county would force members to stand for 40 minutes in an echoing building with no PA system so that much of the proceedings were inaudible to those of less than 20/20 hearing?
How many times did our Chief Exec say "process", "future proof" and similar corporate bilge?
And since no bag checks were in force at the Oval 3 weeks ago, who believes that Chelmsford is in a higher security risk zone than south London?

Just asking.....

The Oval are doing bag checks now.

You can tell they don't really want to though.

Our batters can only make runs on flat pitches our bowlers take wickets on natural jungles.

Harmer needs those natural pitches to turn square if he is to avoid being regularly pumped. Ridiculously short boundaries to the Pavillon/Tom Pearce stand
