Committee member anyone ?

The application process is now open to join the Essex County Cricket Club Board and Members? Committee.
We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals who can contribute to the future success of the Club and to further strengthen the breadth of skills within the current Board.
This is an excellent opportunity to play an active role in shaping the direction of the Club and representing Members? interests.

I would suggest that anyone thinking of standing. Have a look first, at themselves.

They will soon see, that they fall well short of the qualities asked for. If elected, it will be interesting to see, how long their honeymoon period lasts.

As the deadline has passed, and I understand that the positions have been filled. Can whom they are, be advised please.

We all wish to pronounce. I have never heard of them.

A suggestion. How about following the example of the Conservative Party, and having a 1922 committee. This committee being made up of members, who have no official positions. Their job is to act, when they feel the Committee members and management, require to be brought to account.
