England really are the pits when it comes to ODI. Probably the bowling & fielding is the major problem. It is difficult to expect them to beat anyone decent in the near future & they wil undoubtedly be outplayed by some lesser teams. It is embarrassing

A better Captain would help. I think Morgan would have been more proactive and not let the heads drop. England were about 30 runs short and then Archer and Carse had bad days. A pity because that was a fine innings from Duckett, eclipsed by Inglis. And this was England's best chance of beating the Aussies in a long time.

30 runs short if they bowl and field like morons.  Can we do our own prisoner exchange Carse for Inglis?

It?s different players who fail in each match. I like Butler as an individual but with this run of form something has to change. We have to try a different approach not continue to stumble on in the same old way.

There seems to  be no total that can?t be exceeded against England. There was a time when we could exert control & even defend even modest scores. Not so now. Teams are constantly breaking records against us. If these bowlers can?t ever exert control they should be dropped. Since Archer has returned he seems to be a shadow of his former self & will be of little use in the Ashes!
