Congratulations to Head Groundsman Stuart Kerrison on his recent presentation for thirty years loyal and dedicated service to the club, during the game against Leicestershire. Sterling service come rain and shine.

Blimey 30 years. I can remember when he joined as a junior member of the groundstaff. Well done to him.

He has been a great servant to the Club, I cannot recall if he has won any awards for the pitches in the past but he should have, although our pitches can be a bit flat & docile at times the general quality is good. Stuart & his team do sterling work especially when the weather is wet, I think we lose a lot less play than we should as they are so speedy to clear up etc.

Agree with everything said. I've often wondered whether we'd be better spending money on a second whale machine rather than on employing some of the expensive fringe players like Mahmood. Arguably you'd get even more play?

You mean a whale that does its job instead of a whale... Etc.

More outstanding work from our ground team last night.  I can't believe we got 42 overs of cricket considering the pitch was covered in water at 1500hrs.

Top job lads..again.
