2022/2023 Fixtures

As per usual, the communication within our Club is the poorest in the country.

Every county has released 2nd X1 fixtures for the season, nothing on our website.

Some people need to plan there season and like to watch the seconds, also as of yet I am still awaiting my life membership details, a cool investment of nearly 1300 and nothing apart from a receipt generated in the county office.

Thanks Slogger, found them, but not under 2nd Eleven fixtures, they are under a seperate header with the firsts games.

Yes Gloucestershire at Colchester is very appealing.

I got excited when I saw a game at Colchester, and then realised it clashes with the first team in action at Chelmsford , also against Glos on the same 4 days!

That is ludicrous. Surely if someone pointed it out to them a new date could be arranged?

Maybe they're saving money, with the same coach bringing both teams up from Gloucs.

No problem. The 1st team game will be over in 2 days so leaving 2 days for you to enjoy the 2XI game.

That most enjoyable mini festival at Coggeshall has gone. Clearly the club haven't grasped the affection some stalwarts have for high summer cricket played on outgrounds. Maybe that's what you get when ex players run the show, who presumably don't like roughing it at club grounds.

Same old stuff, last year I posted this post about lack of information with the 2nds.

I contacted the club and they said they were working on it.

Lucky you can now plan your season by visiting other counties websites as most of them had posted out their 2nds fixtures by Xmas.

Also we have a first eleven pre season friendly at Canterbury, has that been mentioned on the site and I have missed it?

My friend in Kent told me about the friendly some time ago!

A good friend has got hold of the fixture list, Warwickshire and Durham at Billericay in early April.

Castle Park in early July v Hampshire.

4 x 20/20 games at Garons, these were very well supported last season.

No Halstead or Coggeshall, I think all of the 4 day is at Billericay.
