That is very interesting, and quite at odds with the smug, self-satisfied press releases when the project was in its relative infancy. Not sure what/how or in what depth, (although being familiar with
No Change Essex the
depth was as likely as deep as the top five batting line-up in the CC).
This is as close as we're likely to get to an 'admission' that this has now become a piecemeal development, cobbled together over the years. It may similarly point to the original commercial "agreement" with the developer having been somewhat realigned. But, hey, it's all speculation, because the Club continue to guard this like a state secret.
Here's a novel suggestion; why do the Club not release a press statement that contains the truth about where they are with the redevelopment.
Until they do so. It once again illustrates their utter contempt for members and general supporters and believe that those two constituent groups are as stupid as they themselves.
