They are interviewing fans who look as though they would attend a Surrey game at Oval. I wonder how many will turn up for a 2nd visit.

A lot of people are leaving it late to turn up, unless they are out of view elsewhere in the ground. The Oval looks at most 25% full, explain that ECB the evidence is on everyone's TV screen.

That's a big crowd for a womens domestic match.  A lot of tickets have been given away though I think.

Get rid of the forced fun and disinterested celebrities and stick to the game and it would not be too bad.

But that's the point of it.

My daughter works for Investec in the City and 200 complimentary tickets were dropped in last week, there were still over a 100 sitting at reception last night.

Says a lot for the competition and how many actually brought tickets for last nights event?

A young girl on TV when asked what she liked best about The Hundred, replied " The fireworks".
It was not the response they were after!

Over just looked at our 50 over line-up at Hampshire and wondered why Sam Cook has been left out.

Being BOFs, we still use the BBC's text service on the TV, so were surprised to find nothing about the 16.4 on the Cricket pages - no headlines, no scorecards.  Then we realised that the system they use to display the scorecards might not be configured to handle the 16.4, but that doesn't explain the lack of headlines.  Rummaged about in the other sport sections, nothing, but did find the tables for both the men's and women's competition on the Tables section of the Cricket pages.  Odd, seeing that the Beeb are showing the competition.

Lynda if you care to glance at the BBC Cricket webpage it is dominated by the 16.4, celebrating what a success it already is.  >:(

I looked at the results table too - anyone understand why the losing team has the higher run rate according to teletext?
