What's left ?

Congratulations to Bavuma in becoming the first coloured to score a test century for South Africa  ( never realised it had not been accomplished previously ) . So what's left, a chinaman to bowl a chinamen in test cricket ?

Bad faux pas here bwildered.
Bavuma was the first black Aftrican to score 100 for the Saffers - "coloured" in SA means people from the "Cape Coloured" community who are of mixed race and have various hues of skin colour e.g. Ashwell Pruince and Hershelle Gibss, both of whom scored tons for the saffers.

However, masssive congrats to Bavuma, a fine knock, and wonderful to see his family's reaction to it.

Too late Bwildered!

Edgar Ellis Achong already bowled unorthodox left arm back in the 1930s - although not the originator of the delivery, he was from the Chinese diaspora and the delivery was apparently named after him.

Don't know about the Chinese cut, although I've played a few unintentionally...

Mention of Ashwell Prince reminds me of seeing him bat for Lancs at Chelmsford on a couple of occasions - a superb, technically excellent big hundred in the infamous 20 ao match & on another occasion which I can't clearly recall, a fine player who will be greatly missed by Lancs . Herschell Gibbs too was a fine player who gave much to SA, Makhaya Ntini was another to give SA sterling service - saw him bowl for Kent & he was lively. Congrats to Bavuma on his maiden Test ton - Well deserved!!
