How very sad , the news that James has had to retire from cricket due to a serious heart condition. A very good player and just again starting with England has now had to end. I wish him well and good luck in what ever he decides to do in the future.

Yes. A terrible piece of news. Lets hope he's able to develop a long career (and life) in some other way.

Played a impressive captains innings for the Outlaws at Chelmsford last season . Still had a lot to offer his county and country . Hope all goes well for him for the future whatever career path he follows .

Shocked to hear of his bad news, always had a lot of time for him as a player, small in size but big in stature - I too saw his innings for Notts last season - a very good innings. He played for Leics a few seasons ago at ECG when he scored a superb century when all his teammates struggled & played Danish Kaneria as well as anyone whilst his partners all struggled.
Best wishes for his future.

Shocking news - wish James Taylor well.  Always admired him as a player and person and thought he was going to have an excellent England career after getting another chance and impressing.  Such a shame.
