A thought has occurred to me that with matches being played predominantly on Fridays next year then T20 will get less TV coverage from Sky as it will be spread over, say, 16 weeks & logically only 1 match per night will be shown thus at least 2 Counties won't have a home match televised , at present each County normally gets at least 3 matches (1 home & 2 away or vice versa), I'm guessing that Sky TV money might thus go down meaning Counties would each get less from the pool.
Also at present matches are televised on virtually every night over 4/5 weeks meaning approx. 35-40 are shown , in 2014 it would seem approx. 16/20 might be shown - not exactly in cricket's best interests!!
Maybe others on here know differently but perhaps anyone in the know could clarify, please?
