Re the likely attendance on Sunday - despite being in LVCC2 (permanently?) we are blessed with a decent level of support - better than many other Counties & probably a lot more than we deserve, some of the bigger Counties including Test ground ones would probably be envious of our support.
I have often said Essex don't deserve our support & we don't deserve them!

I suspect that the lack of cheerleaders is yet another reason why Mr Diatribe doesn't attend matches at Chelmsford.

Actually Fire, its the lack of my favourite air, Frédéric Chopin's Marche Funèbre accompanying the batsmen to the crease. ;)

Could, I suspect, be arranged!

And I suspect Diatribe's cheerleaders could be trained to do an appropriate dance to accompany it.
