As it was now charged for, I started getting the Bus.

Trying to get out of Meteor Way, the Bus would have already left Chelmsford before reaching Rainsford Road.

I saw that planning permission is being sought for the adjacent public car park. I seem to recall the field the club use for parking was earmarked for development too. I've only driven a couple of times in the last decade so I've no dog in this race. I suspect the park and ride may be a good option for those coming from afar, but does it operate on Sundays, the peak rail closure day?

The Airport buses do operate on all days. I do not attend the T20 and the One Day Cup, as I have a door where progress of the painting requires my close attention. Therefore I am not leaving late, after some Bus routes have ended.

No unfortunately it doesn't, nor on Bank Holidays

?2.50 in advance.
?3.50 on the day.
?40 for the year.

Price increases in all cases I think?

Even taking into account the ?6 bus fare. After the cost of Petrol, servicing and depreciation. The Bus appears to be the better option. For CC games, the majority of the members will not pay anything on the Bus.

Those who paid for a season ticket last year didn't get a refund for the day(s) when travellers blocked the entrance!

I bet they will return.

After they found, it was so easy to gain access. There would have been no one there to stop them.
