It's  always " due out" but never arrives.

First question is why do the club not test out the audio before proceeding has everyone had a lisp or there was a hiss on the one and only Mike , made it almost impossible to listen to.
So apologies if some information has been misinterpreted.

Newton report still no final date, now costing 550k, plus costs in which processes will be put in findings are unveiled.

Trial at Kent where Pay Per View live stream for non members .

Main scoreboard requires more information with last wicket, last man and squad numbers .

New club website in June, will have connected for members committee. Surprised that nobody knows the elected, will have to be more identifiable during match days .

Open ground policy , Lower Tom Pearce will be members only .

 AGM Early Nov.

Disabled parking for 6 cars, which is over the allocated provision, but still not enough. Cannot future book has club do not know how many cars to arrive in car park with officials etc.

Ireland game see In Hut .

Ground redevelopment - unlikely to move as it would cost £100 million {I think that what was said]

Changes are being made to ground - they are measuring everything to do a proper survey of the ground - this will take six months.

Member committee members - meetings have taken place [My comment, of course we don't know who they are - they should be circulating the Members areas not sitting waiting to be found!]

Comments on branding - we''l be gettng a leaflet about it.

Moving wouldn't be a redevelopment job like Leicester's £60m plan or building some cheap concrete block with basic facilities and a few more seats. It would be a proper job with proper facilities for members/media/authorities, not to mention new buildings alongside a new ground to increase revenue streams outside of cricket. Add in increased cost for manpower, building materials post Covid and £100m for a complete move sounds about right to me.

We'll end up sticking a bit more lipstick on the Chelmsford pig because that's all we can afford to do. Unfortunately, it won't solve our problems and we'll be back to square one in a few years. I feel for the board though, whilst we're a members club we can't afford to do anything else.

Appreciate the updates on the meet, thank you!

Is this the latest obfuscation from the Club?
I'd suggest, if indeed that figure quoted is correct, as a kill-all speculation/debate about ECCC's miserable failure to deliver any of the East Vanity Project. Big on BS and bluster - very poor on any actually delivery.
For that figure you'd be able to raze all existing structures and begin from fresh- providing something comparable to Somerset completed project. Except that our inept Club decided to sell their car park to facilitate a plastic clad apartment block - an area that would have enabled a project commensurate with the size of the figure mentioned would be able to facilitate. Any competent Club would have delivered it by now.
As ever, No Change Essex are more interested in covering their tracks, using deflection and shifting the blame, than being honest, a trick borrowed from our current Government and their two predecessors as PM! Or was it them who knicked it from ECCC?

I heard that this Winter, the Executive suite is to be extended. As there is a floodlight plyon in the way, any extension will have to curve round.

If this is the plan, I am afraid that the people sitting at Hayes Close, to quote the title of a John Wayne film. They were expendable.

Which is why under the open ground experiment, the members only section of the Hayes Close end has been made open to all.
